Man climbs onto MRT tracks at Tanah Merah station

The man was found on the eastbound tracks, and was brought back onto the platform by duty staff at Tanah Merah MRT station.

SINGAPORE - A man scaled a platform screen door at Tanah Merah MRT station and got onto the tracks on Thursday afternoon (Nov 8), in another rare occurrence of track intrusion.
The Straits Times understands that the man was spotted climbing over the half-height platform screen door on closed-circuit television by SMRT station staff around noon.
