SINGAPORE - If your ez-link card expires this year, you can exchange it for a limited edition card with designs of popular Justice League superheroes - at a cost of $3.
EZ-Link launched the new 'Travel with your Justice League Super Hero' campaign on Wednesday.
The Justice League card series features popular superhero designs, including Catwoman, Batgirl, Batman, Green Lantern, Robin, Superman, Supergirl, The Flash, The Joker and Wonder Woman.
The campaign replaces a previous giveaway, which allowed commuters to exchange expiring cards for a new one, at no charge. The limited edition Justice League cards were previously available only for exchange with cards expiring in 2014.
Cardholders who have cards expiring by Dec 31 can now exchange their old cards at any TransitLink Ticket Office for a limited edition Justice League card. A subsidised fee of $3 will be deducted from the old card.
Remaining money will be transferred to the new cards, which do not carry any stored value.
Cardholders can check if their cards are expiring before Dec 31 by going to www.ezlink.com.sg, general ticketing machines, add value machines, OCBC ATMs, AXS Stations, TransitLink Ticket Offices, Passenger Service Counters and My EZ-Link Mobile App which can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
They can also view expiry dates on top-up receipt printouts at EZ-Link Top-up Machines, TransitLink Ticket Offices and Passenger Service Counters.
Customers on the auto-top-up service EZ-Reload with expiring cards can also purchase the limited edition cards and re-apply for the service.
These customers can keep and use their expiring card upon purchase of the special Justice League card and continue to use the auto-top-up service until the card's expiry date.
PAssion ez-link card holders and bank co-brand credit or debit card holders with ez-link functions are not eligible for this campaign.
