SINGAPORE – A recent decision by ride-hailing giant Grab to lift a 10-year age limit for private-hire vehicles on its platform has sparked a renewed interest in older cars among some drivers.
The Nasdaq-listed company cited an ongoing driver crunch and a need to help drivers cope with rising operating costs as reasons for pausing its vehicle age requirement from Feb 23 until further notice.
