SINGAPORE - Indonesia's Minister of Transport Ignasius Jonan began a two-day visit to Singapore on Tuesday, at the invitation of his Singapore counterpart Mr Lui Tuck Yew, the Minister of Transport and Second Minister for Defence.

His visit is a part of the Ministry of Transport's Distinguished Visitors' Programme, which is aimed at improving relations and fostering tighter collaboration between Singapore's transport industry and its foreign counterparts.

During his time here, Mr Jonan will call on Mr Lui and also visit the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore as well as other transport operators.

On Wednesday, he will speak at the Singapore Business Leaders Programme, organised by the Human Capital Leadership Institute.
