Taxi driver How Yuen Fah felt a sharp pain in his right abdomen and struggled to keep his eyes open while driving along Queensway during peak hour one evening.

By the time Mr How, then 72, signalled to turn right at the Queensway traffic junction on March 22, he had blacked out.
