SINGAPORE - When the Covid-19 pandemic hit last year, Madam Shankari Gopal did not expect that she, along with many of her colleagues, would be redeployed by Jetstar Asia.
But in March last year, the budget airline was forced to ground its fleet of 18 Airbus 320s following a rapid decline in demand for air travel as the coronavirus situation in Asia deteriorated.
