SINGAPORE - The current Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry along Eu Tong Sen Street will be relocated to about 50m down the road.

This is to facilitate the construction of the Outram Park station on the Thomson-East (TEL) Coast Line, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said on Wednesday.

During the transition phase, motorists will see two separate ERP gantries along Eu Tong Sen Street.

LTA said the relocated gantry will be in operation only after the existing one has been decommissioned, with the switch expected to take place in early August 2015.

The current ERP rates at the Eu Tong Sen Street gantry ranges from $0.50 to $3 for passenger cars. It is in operation from 8am to 10am and 12pm to 8pm on weekdays.

The ERP gantry will be moved back to its original location once construction of the TEL Outram Park station is completed.
