COE premiums close generally lower; Cat A prices end at $55,399

SINGAPORE - Certificates of entitlement (COE) ended generally lower in the latest tender on Wednesday.
COE for cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp closed at $55,399, down from $57,089 two weeks earlier. COE for cars above 1,600cc or 130bhp finished at $60,001, down from $62,101.
Open COE, which can be used for any vehicle type but ends up mainly for bigger cars, bucked the trend by ending at $61,300, up slightly from $61,010 previously.
Commercial vehicle COE slid from $46,801 to close at $45,289. Motorcycle premiums eased from $6,512 to $6,158.
