Certis looks beyond Singapore to grow airport business
Besides security, firm offers services such as managing facilities and customer care

At the Certis Integrated Operations Centre at Changi Airport, thousands of cameras help staff monitor the passenger terminals, airport perimeter and Airport Boulevard. The firm is also looking into the feasibility of body-worn cameras for ground staff to provide live feeds to the control centre.

Certis, which provides security services at Changi and Seletar airports, as well as at Changi's new Jewel complex, is looking to grow its overseas business.
Outside Singapore, it already has a presence at Hamad Airport in Qatar, as well as at eight airports in Australia, including in Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and Newcastle.
