Bumpy ride for Singapore's taxi industry

Even as the taxi industry seems to have arrested its sharp downward spiral, the business of providing point-to-point transportation services will never be what it was before Uber and Grab arrived in 2013.

In less than five years, the dynamic app duo caused a seismic shift in commuter behaviour, resulting in Singapore's taxi fleet falling by 20 per cent.
