On patrol with TransCom: Transport security officers made 723 arrests last year
Number nabbed in spot checks by unit that turns 10 this year up from 646 in 2017

Officers from the Singapore Police Force Public Transport Security Command (TransCom) unit made 723 arrests last year as a result of spot checks conducted on Singapore's transport network, up from 646 in 2017.
The unit, comprising 500 full-time national servicemen (NSFs) and over 100 regular officers, was created in 2009. It turns 10 this year.
