SINGAPORE - After spending two years being socially distanced in her home country of South Korea, Ms Kang Min Ju, 27, decided to make an impromptu trip to Singapore.

The engineer, who was at the zoo when The Straits Times approached her, said: "I just finished travelling around Malaysia. I'm jumping on the 'revenge travel' bandwagon to make up for the two years of not being able to travel."
