SINGAPORE - Ticket application for this year's National Day Parade (NDP) closes on Sunday (May 22).

Singaporeans and Permanent Residents who wish to apply for tickets to Preview 1 on July 23, Preview 2 on July 30, or the NDP on Aug 9 can do so through:

- a Short Message Service (SMS) text application,

- the official NDP 2016 website,

- SAM stations, and

- AXS stations

To apply via SMS, details should be sent to 8240-0050 in the following format: (NRIC No.) SPACE (Number of tickets) SPACE (NDP/Preview1/Preview2)SPACE (SG/PR) SPACE (NAME).

Tickets are in lots of two, four or six, with higher chances for those applying for fewer tickets, said the organisers in a reminder issued on Thursday (May 19). Those who received tickets through last year's ticketing exercise are not eligible for this year's. The ballot results are final and no appeals will be entertained.

Successful applicants will be notified from June 2 to 8 through the contact number they provide in their application. Tickets can be collected from June 10 to 19 between 10am and 9pm daily at Kallang Wave Mall Atrium.

Each ticket admits only one adult, child or infant spectator to the parade.
