* Justin Chew Chee Kin, a former salesman at an errant Sim Lim Square retailer, the first of five employee​s​ charged with cheating its walk-in customers, was jailed for 28 weeks on Tuesday.
* Pop star Madonna is set to perform in Singapore for the first time. A date hasn't been set but the performance will likely take place this year at the National Stadium.
