I ate breakfast on the go for six years. Whether it was a peanut-butter sandwich or a char siew bao, each item was ensconced in a plastic bag - which ended up in the bin within 20 minutes.
So when I was challenged to go plastic-free for two weeks, I was curious to see how I would fare.
