SINGAPORE –  More work needs to be done to improve the gender balance in businesses and boards, Ms Georgette Tan, president of local non-profit organisation United Women Singapore, told The Sunday Times.

This is despite the representation of women on the boards of Singapore’s largest companies increasing over the past year, finally meeting a 20 per cent by 2020 target that was previously set.
