Thailand's Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will be visiting Singapore

SINGAPORE - Dignitaries from Thailand and Albania are visiting Singapore on Sunday.

Thailand's Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will be here on Sunday to attend the opening ceremony of the Global Young Scientists Summit 2015, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs said.

She will also meet Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, the summit's guest-of-honour, while Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law K Shanmugam will host her for lunch.

Here on an official visit from Sunday until Wednesday is Albania's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati. He is accompanied by senior officials.

Mr Bushati will meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob.

Mr Shanmugam will also meet Mr Bushati for bilateral talks, and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Grace Fu will host him to an official lunch.

Mr Bushati will receive a briefing from the Singapore Tourism Board and attend a lunch organised by the Singapore Business Federation.
