While there have previously been surveys on the death penalty conducted by other bodies, such as Reach in 2016, this is the first time that the Ministry of Home Affairs is commissioning one.

SINGAPORE - A survey is under way to gather public sentiment towards the death penalty here.
The Straits Times understands that this is the first time the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is conducting a survey on the death penalty.
