Eighteen pairs of tickets to screenings of the SG50 movie 7 Letters are up for grabs for readers of The Straits Times.
Three pairs are to the red-carpet gala screening on July 24, the first day of the three-day premiere at Capitol Theatre. The other 15 pairs will be for the July 25 screening.
The giveaway is in celebration of The Straits Times' 170th birthday.
The movie is a compendium of seven short films made to mark Singapore's 50th birthday.
The short films were directed by acclaimed local film-makers Boo Junfeng, Eric Khoo, K. Rajagopal, Jack Neo, Tan Pin Pin, Royston Tan and Kelvin Tong.
To win tickets, look out for the contest blurb that will be printed in the paper and answer the question.
Answers must be sent by SMS in the format ST7LETTERS
Readers have till noon on Saturday to send in their answers.
Tickets to the screenings were snapped up when they were made available to Singapore citizens and permanent residents on July 1. Successful applicants were encouraged to make a donation, with all proceeds going to charity.
Beneficiaries are the Alzheimer's Disease Association, the Children- At-Risk Empowerment Association, the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore, the Pertapis Senior Citizens Fellowship Home, the Singapore Buddhist Lodge Welfare Foundation, the Students Care Service and Transient Workers Count Too.
