SINGAPORE - St Andrew's Road will be closed from 1pm to 2am from Friday (Nov 27) to Sunday (Nov 29) for the opening celebration of the National Gallery Singapore.
As part of the opening, there will be an art carnival at the Padang from 5pm to midnight this weekend.
Drivers are advised to avoid Supreme Court Lane due to traffic congestion, National Gallery Singapore said in a press release.
"We strongly encourage visitors attending the Art Carnival to use public transport," the statement said.
The nearest MRT stations to the National Gallery are the City Hall, Raffles Place and Clarke Quay stations.
Those who are driving can park their cars at The Parliament House, Funan DigitaLife Mall, or parking lots in the vicinity. Taxis should drop passengers off at Capitol Singapore.
