Ms Rankoth Gedara Rupawathie has spent 28 of her 30 years in Singapore working for the same family. She said she hopes to start a charity after she returns to Sri Lanka, hopefully by the year end.

After enduring two years in war-torn Lebanon, Ms Rankoth Gedara Rupawathie was determined to find a safer country where she could work as a domestic helper.
The Sri Lankan may have come to Singapore in 1988, but the reason she has stayed is her bond with the Singh family, her employers for 28 of her 30 years here.
