Visitors to RWS casino down by 70%; shops at both IRs report drop in sales by up to 50%

Over the last few years, Malaysian tour guide Ng Sau Wan has been taking busloads of tourists from Kluang, Johor, to the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) casino in Singapore at least four times a week.

His tour group of about 40 would jostle among swarms of gamblers at the blackjack, baccarat and pai gow tables, or join rows of punters at the shiny jackpot machines.
