Singapore Airshow returns with tech showcase, aerial displays

Two F-35B fighter jets from the US Air Force landed in Singapore for the first time on Saturday (Feb 3). Both jets will be on display at this year's Singapore Airshow from February 6 to 11.
Asia's largest aerospace and defence exhibition, the biennial Singapore Airshow, is back.
This year's edition, which starts tomorrow, showcases new technologies, aircraft on static display as well as aerobatic performances by pilots from six countries.
The event, held at Changi Exhibition Centre, is also a forum for global players to discuss emerging trends in the aviation industry, such as the use of autonomous vehicles and cyber security.
The airshow is open to trade visitors from tomorrow until Friday. Members of the public can visit the grounds on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the two days open to the public are available from Sistic, priced at $22 for adults and $9 for children.
More than 130,000 visitors are expected at the show, similar to the last one held in 2016.
