SPH Media emerged top in eight out of 23 categories, among 80 finalists.

SINGAPORE – SPH Media won eight awards at the Asia Podcast Awards 2025 held in Jakarta on Sept 3.
Launched in 2023 by Australian trade publication Radioinfo, the awards recognise the most outstanding individuals, teams and organisations in media and marketing who work in the podcast medium in Asia.
SPH Media emerged top in eight out of 23 categories, among 80 finalists.
Of the eight awards, four were snagged by Money FM 89.3. They are:
Best Comedy Podcast, awarded to Friday Night Live, presented by Neil Humphreys and Dan Koh.
Best Money and Business Podcast, awarded to Wealth Tracker, presented by Hongbin Jeong.
Best News Podcast, awarded to GE Tonight: Was Workers’ Party’s decision to not contest in Marine Parade “disappointing for democracy?”, presented by Michelle Martin and Audrey Siek.
Best Sport Podcast, awarded to Sports Minutes, presented by the radio station’s assistant programme director Zia-ul Raushan. This is the podcast’s second time winning the same accolade.
Kiss92 won two of the eight awards, namely:
Best Health and Wellness Podcast, awarded to Just Between Us, presented by Natalie Koh and Juliana Yeow.
Best New Podcast, awarded to Shelf Life – a podcast about toy collecting – presented by Yumiko Kayahara.
The remaining two awards bagged by SPH Media were:
Best Children’s Entertainment, awarded to The Land Before Bedtime, presented by Charmaine Phua, Angelique Teo, Lavinia Tan, Carol Smith and Tim Oh. This is the podcast’s second time winning the accolade.
People’s Choice Award, awarded to Joseph Ask – a Mandarin podcast featuring questions submitted by listeners addressing ways to deal with life issues – by UFM100.3 presenters Wenhong and Jia Yi.
Mr Sim Hong Huat, head of radio at SPH Media, said: “We are immensely proud and incredibly honoured to receive eight awards at Asia Podcast Awards 2025.”
He added that the wins are a testament to the hard work, creativity and dedication of the team at SPH Media.
“To see The Land Before Bedtime and Sports Minutes winning for a second time, and our other podcasts being recognised across a diverse range of categories including comedy, health, business and news, truly highlights the breadth and quality of our audio content,” said Mr Sim.
