Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin and MPs play futsal with Fandi and other Singapore football legends for charity

SINGAPORE - Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin and several Members of Parliament played on the same team in a charity futsal that raised $125,250 on Saturday (Sept 30).
Mr Tan, together with Aljunied GRC MP Pritam Singh, Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC MP Teo Ser Luck, Marine Parade GRC MP Edwin Tong, kicked off the annual Singapore Exchange Bull Charge Charity Futsal in a match against Singapore football icons Fandi Ahmad, S Subramani and Aleksandar Duric.
SGX chief executive officer Loh Boon Chye and head of equities and fixed income Chew Sutat too joined them.
A total of 31 teams participated in the charity futsal, said the SGX in a statement.

Funds raised will go to five beneficiaries: Asian Women's Welfare Association, Autism Association Singapore, Fei Yue Community Services, Shared Services for Charities, and the Community Chest.
The event, which is in its fourth year, is part of the annual SGX Bull Charge series.
The series aims to bring together the financial community and listed companies to support the needs of underprivileged children and families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
