SMU has been awarded a major grant of S$15 million from the National Research Foundation for a Research Programme in Computational Law.

SINGAPORE - Singapore is to undertake a first-of-its-kind research on creating a working programming language for the country's laws and contracts.
This language will be the foundation for specially trained computer programmers to create digital contracts and other legal documents.
