SINGAPORE - The troubles were evident for some time, and both SingPost and the authorities could have moved quicker to address the issues.
Observers said this after the postal service provider was handed a record $100,000 fine on Thursday (Feb 7) for failing to meet government service standards for domestic mail in 2017 - a trend which appears not to have reversed, judging by recent delivery incidents.
