Singapore among more than 20 countries affected by Apple store problems

SINGAPORE - A worldwide problem with Apple's iTunes store appeared to have affected Singapore on Wednesday night.

Users here reported problems accessing the store, in line with similar complaints reported in more than 20 other countries.

Apple's iTunes Store, App Store and Mac App Store were all believed to be experiencing problems.

The glitches appeared to be geographically inconsistent, for example some customers in India could access the App Store but not the iTunes Store's music tracks.

Apple's system support website however said that, as of 10.32pm, the iTunes Store, Mac App Store and App Store were "unavailable for all users".
