Imagine looking at your soon-to-be-ready apartment through a virtual reality (VR) headset.
That may be a reality sooner than you think.
As part of the Committee of Supply 2018 debate, the Ministry of Communications and Information and the Infocomm Media Development Authority held a two-day immersive media exhibition at the Parliament House for members.
On display was a gamut of possible uses of VR, augmented reality and mixed reality.
Applications spanned both work and play, from using Virtual Response Trainers to train situational awareness in front-line officers (above), to home-grown producers premiering VR films on the Discovery Network's VR app.
An even wider range of technologies will be on display for the public in the Tech Saturday two-day exhibition to be held from June 2.
