Why politics?
I feel it's time for me to step up as the opportunity has arisen with SPP's support. The parliamentary avenue gives me a better platform to have my thoughts and ideas shared with people.
Why you?
My career progression mirrors many Singaporean PMETs, so I can speak up on their behalf. I also have a background in finance and management, and have blogged about these issues.
What issues will you focus on?
I will be speaking up very strongly for what I call the "sandwiched generation": people around my age who have to look after their kids, their elderly parents - many who don't have CPF - and also look after themselves for retirement.
Favourite spot in Singapore?
I enjoy running in MacRitchie Reservoir.
