SINGAPORE – Most primary schools now do not hold selection trials for their co-curricular activities (CCAs), to give pupils a chance to pursue their interests and focus less on performance. 

The Ministry of Education (MOE) said this while giving an update on a pilot study that started in 2020, on how eight schools’ allocation of pupils to their CCA choices without selection trials can support them in pursuing their interests and talents.
