From the furniture to the stalls, canteens are now more cafe-like instead of industrial looking. At Beatty Secondary School, the school has put in a couple of cool features including high tables, seating around pillars and a swing area, meant for students to capture Instagrammable moments. They also made the radio station studio visible to the students by putting in glass panes. There's also a stage and a piano for students to perform

Schools can decide on the design of their canteens to create a conducive environment for staff and students.
