SINGAPORE - A heated argument between two men on a bus was stopped by an SBS Transit bus captain before it escalated.
A video of the incident shows a man shouting angrily at another man in the bus. Both of them were standing.
The first man is shown shouting vulgarities at the second man and taking up a combative stance while challenging him to a fight.
He is also shown kicking the other man's items, which he had placed on the floor.
In response to queries from The Straits Times, SBS Transit's senior vice-president of corporate communications Tammy Tan said the incident "of unruly behaviour" occurred on board one of the shuttle services SBS Transit operated between Aljunied MRT Station and Pasir Ris MRT Station on Jan 21.
"Our bus captain stopped the trip and separated the two men who were arguing," she said. "They remained quiet thereafter and the trip continued. No one was injured in the incident."
