SINGAPORE – After stopping work for eight months in 2021 to undergo treatment for stage 2 breast cancer, Ms Denise Ho has rejoined the workforce.

She is now happily settled into her job as a phlebotomist, someone who draws blood from patients and tests them for medical conditions in a laboratory.
