SINGAPORE - January is "results month" for O-level school leavers and students taking their final examinations at the Institutes of Technical Education. For about 6,200 of them though, it will be a less anxious wait - they have already been offered polytechnic places for April 2021 through the early admissions scheme.
Ministry of Education figures show that a record number of 15,400 O-level school leavers and ITE students applied for polytechnic places through the early admission exercise in 2020.
