SINGAPORE - The biggest regret for prison inmate Ebrahim, 40, is letting his only child down again and again, and not setting a good example for her by going to jail.

In an e-mail interview with The Straits Times, Ebrahim said he also felt like he had inadvertently abandoned his daughter when he was sent to jail - and not for the first time - in 2019.
