Prison service to trial real-time tracking system

The Singapore Prison Service (SPS) is looking to use Bluetooth trackers to monitor the real-time movements of visitors and external vehicles entering Changi Prison Complex.

An SPS tender in late January shows that it wants to conduct the trial tracking system for up to seven months. The system will allow the tracing of a person's real-time location within the prison complex.
