In our story "What will WP leaders face if Parliament accepts panel's recommendations?", published last Saturday, Singapore Management University Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan was quoted as saying the worst punishment that Parliament can mete out is jail or suspension for a term not exceeding the session of Parliament.
He had said that the most serious sanction that Parliament can mete out is to expel an MP.
