Voting could get easier by next polls

Nursing home residents will be able to vote from their beds and overseas Singaporeans could vote by mail, if proposed changes by the Elections Department are adopted. It is launching consultations with political parties, nursing homes and Singaporeans abroad with the aim to start a pilot in nursing homes and roll out postal voting in time for next year's presidential polls.
