SINGAPORE - Bright yellow Pikachu were out in full force at Marina Barrage on Saturday (Jan 27) as participants in the second Pokemon Run got off to a fun start.

The leisure run sees fans of all ages race down a 5km route, passing landmarks like Gardens by the Bay and ending back at Marina Barrage.

The route was decorated with Pokemon landscapes, such as fire, water, grass and electricity element zones, said organisers Avex Asia and Infinitus Productions.

There are four flag-off timings, with the first at 4pm and the last one at 5.30pm.

A Pokemon-themed carnival featuring games and food is being held for participants.

As part of the festivities, organisers are putting on a Pikachu parade and a Pikachu dance, featuring a group in Pikachu costumes grooving to newly choreographed moves, following last year's well-received performance.
