The outlook for Singapore has brightened considerably compared with last year, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in his May Day message.
Barring a setback to the global economy, Singapore's growth is likely to exceed 6 per cent, he added. He also commended the labour movement for maintaining a collaborative stance in the crisis.
