SINGAPORE - A pedestrian was injured after an accident involving a car in Seah Im Road on Tuesday morning (July 3).

A 70-year-old man was conscious when taken to Singapore General Hospital, said the police, who were alerted to the accident at 10.07am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said the hospital was alerted to be on standby to receive the man.

In a series of photos uploaded to Facebook page Singapore roads accident.com, a white car is seen perched on a pedestrian walkway at the junction of Seah Im Road and Telok Blangah Road.

The car has a smashed bonnet and appears to have damaged a traffic light and a railing during the accident.

Police investigations are ongoing.
