SINGAPORE – At Edgefield Secondary School in Punggol, every student is a taekwondo practitioner.

Secondary 1 students in every cohort since the school’s inception in 2011 don the taekwondo dobok, or uniform, and learn the martial art as part of a signature hour-long weekly programme on their timetable. This is apart from their co-curricular activities (CCAs).
