SINGAPORE - Pupils who sat the PSLE in 2024 will receive their results from 11am on Nov 20.
The Ministry of Education and Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board, in a joint statement on Nov 13, said arrangements have been made for pupils to collect their results.
Pupils will get details on collection arrangements from their schools, it added. Those who are unable to collect their results from school in person can appoint someone to do so on their behalf by Nov 22.
Eligible pupils will receive the Secondary 1 (S1) Option Form to select secondary schools with their PSLE results.
Pupils are required to use their unique S1 personal identification number found on the top right-hand corner of the form to log in to the S1 Internet System to submit their school choices from 11.30am on Nov 20 to 3pm on Nov 26.
Parents who need help with the online submission can contact the primary school before 3pm on Nov 26.
Posting results will be released between Dec 18 and Dec 20 via SMS, the statement said. This information can also be accessed through the S1 Internet System or at the pupil’s primary school.
Pupils do not need to report to the secondary schools they have been posted to after getting their posting results. For details on reporting details, booklist and purchase of uniforms, they can refer to the posted school’s website.
Since the 2023 Primary 6 cohort, students have been posted to secondary schools through three posting groups.
The PSLE score ranges for these three groups – 1, 2 and 3 – will be mapped from the previous Normal (Technical), Normal (Academic) and Express streams respectively.
Pupils eligible for posting group 1 or the posting group 1/2 option band, and more interested in practice-oriented and hands-on learning, can apply to Crest Secondary School (CSS) and Spectra Secondary School (SSS).
“The schools offer a customised skills-based curriculum and exposure to unique learning opportunities, putting students in good stead for progression to the Institute of Technical Education,” said the statement.
Pupils can apply directly by submitting their school application to the respective schools from 11.30am on Nov 20 to 3pm on Nov 26.
Application forms for these two schools are available at pupils’ respective primary schools, or on the websites of CSS and SSS.
Those who apply directly to the schools should continue to submit the S1 Option Form, in order to be posted to the school of their choice if they are not admitted to CSS or SSS.
Those who apply directly and are successfully admitted into the specialised schools will be informed by Dec 11, and their other S1 school choices will be voided.
Eligible pupils who do not apply directly to CSS or SSS, but wish to be considered for admission to the schools, can indicate CSS or SSS as one of their school choices in the S1 Option Form.
