SINGAPORE - Ms Joan Ong had a high flying career as managing director of an international conference company, but she gave it up to raise her son nine years ago.
As a kid, she had been left in the care of nannies as her parents were busy running their own businesses. "I didn't want to give my child that childhood," says the 42-year-old, who had to travel frequently for her job.
