Continuous heavy rain since Friday caused floods in at least five Malaysian states, with more rain expected at the weekend.
The worse-hit state was Selangor, with over 3,000 people evacuated so far, mainly from Klang. Melaka, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang states were also affected, with two deaths reported.
