Singapore Polo Club’s Outreach Polo Tournament and Carnival
Go on pony rides, feed horses and play games at Singapore Polo Club’s carnival on Sept 15. The club in Mount Pleasant Road will be open to the public from 10am to 6pm.
There will also be kiddy train rides around its sand tracks and food stalls offering Ramly burgers, Turkish kebabs and nacho chips.
Purchase $50 coupon booklets to participate in the activities. The money raised will go to the club’s Outreach Fund benefitting four organisations: Children’s Aid Society, Gateway Arts, Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore) and Sunshine Welfare Action Mission, also known as Swami Home.
Plus, your family can catch thrilling tournaments featuring junior and senior players from the Atoms Polo Academy, and seasoned players vying for the championship trophy.

Donald Duck-themed light-up at VivoCity
Check out illuminated displays of Donald Duck and friends at VivoCity’s Sky Park until Sept 22.

Donald Duck’s 90th birthday celebration continues at VivoCity. Join the beloved Disney character’s party at the mall’s Sky Park on level 3 until Sept 22.
The free event features six beach-themed 3D installations, such as a tunnel of oversized life buoys and a 7.5m-tall Donald-themed boat. You will find displays of his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie too, and friends Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale.
Admission is from 10am daily and the photo points are lit from 6 to 10pm.
The mall also held birthday activities for Donald Duck fans during the June school holidays.
This time around, the light-up coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival. There are Disney-themed mooncakes and merchandise at level 1.

Jack And The Beanstalk theatre show
Catch theatre play Jack And The Beanstalk at Drama Centre Black Box from Sept 14 to 22.

Fee-fi-fo-fum – timeless fairy tale Jack And The Beanstalk will come alive again at the Drama Centre Black Box from Sept 14 to 22.
The production by Britain-based children’s theatre company Lyngo Theatre was last staged at the same venue in 2016.
The hour-long, one-man show follows Jack on his extraordinary journey in the land above the clouds after he trades his cow for five magic beans.
Recommended for families with children aged three to eight, the free-seating tickets are priced at $35 a person for shows on weekdays and $48 on weekends.
