Pawsome Pawty to raise funds for SPCA
Held at the animal welfare charity’s grounds in Sungei Tengah Road on Nov 16, the Pawsome Pawty by SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) offers your family the rare chance to tour its veterinary clinic and learn how vets handle cases of animal abuse.
Meet the furry friends at the shelter, draw lessons from their past and be an advocate for animal welfare.
If you are looking to adopt a pet, speak to the counsellors who will guide you through the process.
The third annual charity event, which runs from 10am to 4.30pm, also features animal-care workshops, stage performances by youth and a drawing competition.
Tickets to the event cost $15 a person or $45 for a group of four, and cover all activities. The proceeds will help support SPCA’s services, which need funding of more than $4 million annually.

SPCA’s carpark will be converted into an event space for the day, so consider taking public transport instead. A free two-way shuttle bus service will run between SPCA and Block 302 Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4, which is near Choa Chu Kang MRT station.
