Storybook for charity

Buy a picture book to show your support for non-profit organisation New Life Stories’ family-strengthening programme.

The charity imparts reading and pro-social skills to children whose fathers and mothers are in prison, so that they are not left behind in their early years of development.

Its therapists also work with the parents to help them rebuild their family relationships.

Till The End Of Time, the third book in the Love Beyond The Walls series, comprises short fictional stories written by 10 incarcerated parents to their kids.

The illustrations are hand-drawn by three former inmates who are part of Canvas, a support group which provides opportunities for aspiring artists after their release from prison.

The hardcover book, published in collaboration with electricity retailer Geneco, launches on Dec 27, but you can pre-order it now for $22.50 (usual price $25) at www.TillTheEndOfTime.sg
