It’s a little bit of mix, and a little bit of match as students and schools immerse themselves in full subject-based banding. Students from different posting groups 1, 2 and 3 can land up in the same class taking six common subjects but splitting up for English language, mother tongue languages, mathematics and science at different levels. The bonus is that these mixed classes let them meet more classmates of different abilities and interests.
They themselves, while doing different subjects at different levels based on their strengths, can also work towards doing subjects at a higher level, a chance they are happy to get.
